About Us
Octopus Motor is a game company consisting primarily of Lars Norpchen and Jenny Sparks. In-between various theme park projects, we're (still) working on the giant B-movie monster game They Came From Hollywood. FlightPanel is our first Android app. But why aircraft gauges?
Lars: "...I wrote FlightPanel because I've always been interested in aircraft -- I grew up close to a naval air station, with the Blue Angels buzzing my house annually. My father had a small plane, and I used to do the VOR navigation when we flew, triangulating on paper maps. Later, at game company Spectrum Holobyte, I worked on flight simulators like Flight of the Intruder and Falcon 3.0."Jenny: "...I grew up close to an Air Force base, with the Thunderbirds buzzing over my house annually. My dad did not have a plane, although we did have a Chrysler station wagon that was about the size of a C-5. I do not know how to triangulate anything, so thankfully, I did not do any of the programming on this application."Suggestions? Questions? Contact us at flightpanel@octopusmotor.com
